Forsyth Tech celebrated a record-breaking year, warranting this special 65th-anniversary edition of our Report to the Community!
Our enrollment during the 2024-2025 school year reached an 11-year high, meaning that we’re serving more students – more future nurses, welders, teachers, EMTs, motorcycle mechanics, massage therapists than ever before.
We held ribbon-cuttings and groundbreakings, welcomed new coaches for men’s basketball and women’s volleyball and launched new initiatives like NC Community Colleges Boost, all to support our students and ensure their success.
We also dreamed big, listened, and used human-centered design to explore new ways of serving students, connecting with our community like never before. We developed and expanded partnerships. Our students, faculty and staff won accolades on the national stage, and, once again, we celebrated more students walking across our Commencement stage than ever before.
As we connect with all of you – individuals, businesses, organizations and collaborators – it sometimes feels hard to believe that Forsyth Tech has been around for 65 years. That’s 65 years of trailblazing, of community and of promises kept; 65 years of innovating, of serving as your community college and supporting our students.
Our amazing campus community could not do it without you and your support – so thank you for picking up this special edition as we wrap up a year of 65th anniversary celebrations.
