Forsyth Tech Celebrates Academic Partnerships

Forsyth scroll down.svg
Throughout the 2024–2025 academic year, Forsyth Tech extended our legacy of institutional excellence. We renewed designations and accreditations, all while strengthening transfer pathways.
Two new transfer agreements for our students took shape. An agreement with Western Governors University ensures students' academic credit transfers and awards scholarships of $2,500. Meanwhile, the 49erNext partnership with UNC Charlotte guarantees admission to UNC Charlotte for Forsyth Tech students who complete eligible associate degrees and provides advising, transfer planning and early access to campus services.
The Davis iTEC Cybersecurity Center retained its National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense designation through 2029, affirming that it meets standards set by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security.
EMS programs maintained accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and reported retention, with retention and job placement both above 85%, and state exam pass rates of 95.7%. Forsyth Tech’s Advanced EMT program, which recently received a letter of review from its accrediting body, saw all members of the latest cohort pass the state exam and obtain employment.

And, the college also earned a 2025 Anthology Catalyst Awards in the category of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness.
These articulations, accreditations and superlatives demonstrate Forsyth Tech’s commitment to student success, innovation and community engagement. Collectively, these achievements highlight the College’s dedication to providing pathways to four -year degrees, strengthening workforce readiness, and nurturing an inclusive learning environment.
