Trailblazer Taste Buds
Our strong commitment to meeting our students where they are and working alongside them to support them and ensure their success is perhaps the most evident in our tailored support to a wide array of student groups.
From student parents and adult learners to veterans, first-generation college students and women pursuing manufacturing careers, the college provides specialized programs and initiatives to help each group thrive. Student parents benefit from practical assistance such as drop-in childcare and on-site childcare during exams, as well as a dedicated Student Parent Resource Center (SPARC) that offers mentorship and resources to help them balance family responsibilities with academics. Adult learners likewise find flexibility through online, evening and accelerated course options, along with career services and success coaches that help them balance school with work and family commitments. Forsyth Tech even celebrated adult learner achievements with a special event featuring a veteran-turned-entrepreneur and a grandmother returning to education, highlighting the resilience of these students.

Veterans receive focused support through a Veteran Resource Center that provides confidential counseling, academic advising, new-student orientation, guidance on VA benefits and a quiet study space to ease their transition to college life.
In addition, Forsyth Tech empowers women in manufacturing by hosting a Women of Manufacturing conference annually that connects female students with industry leaders, offers leadership and skills workshops, and spotlights career opportunities to increase female representation in this growing field.
These initiatives illustrate our adaptive, inclusive and responsive approach. By recognizing the unique challenges of each student population and providing targeted support, the college fosters a community where all learners feel valued and equipped to succeed.
