New Gym, Commons Highlight Campus Growth at Forsyth Tech
Big things are happening at Forsyth Tech, and our campuses are taking shape to match the energy and ambition of our students. Several major capital projects are complete, and more are rolling forward to reimagine how and where learning happens.
The West Campus gym is back and better than ever after a full renovation, creating a vibrant hub for athletics. The fresh space is now buzzing with activity, perfectly setting the stage to cheer on our women's volleyball and men's basketball teams, and share our Trailblazer spirit with the community.
At Main Campus, we launched a $29 million transformation that is reshaping the heart of campus. With the removal of outdated buildings, a new Learning Commons and open green courtyard are taking center stage. Finished in late summer, the courtyard has already become a go-to gathering spot – a perfect place to study, unwind or catch up with friends between classes.

These upgrades, made possible by a voter-approved bond referendum, will provide much-needed space for modern learning, connection and opportunity. The upcoming Learning Commons will feature flexible, technology-rich spaces designed for collaboration and creativity.
Enrollment at the Northwest Forsyth Center keeps climbing, meeting strong local demand for trained public safety professionals. We'll soon request updated multi-campus funding status to match this growth going forward.
Meanwhile, the expanded Transportation Technology Center hit the accelerator this year, giving students more room to learn, practice and prepare for in-demand careers.
Our campuses are evolving in all the right ways – ready to support the next generation of Trailblazers as they join us to rise, thrive and lead.
